Standing with women survivors of war

We are so thrilled to be partnering with The Jimmy Choo Foundation, who are dedicated to empowering women through education and enterprise. Founded in 1996, Jimmy Choo is a British luxury fashion brand specialising in footwear, handbags, fragrance, a range of accessories and a growing men’s offering with an empowered sense of glamour. Comprising of an annual company donation, employee engagement programme and a series of bespoke brand activations, the partnership raises vital funds for vulnerable women. Since 2020 the company has donated over £500,000, helping women survivors of war to become successful entrepreneurs and inspire hope for the future.

Women have always been at the core of the Jimmy Choo brand, and as a company, we feel passionately about creating a world where education and enterprise for women can develop the confidence and optimism to dream and achieve.

#SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sales

Jimmy Choo took part in our Virtual Car Boot Sales in 2020 and 2021, contributing stock to the all-day fashion extravaganza events which raised funds to support women survivors of war through the pandemic. When our #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale returned in person in 2022 and 2023, Jimmy Choo continued to participate, raising over £37,900 across the two years helping to support marginalised women in some of the world’s toughest places.

#SheInspiresMe Lunch

Jimmy Choo generously sponsored our 2021 #SheInspiresMe Lunch. Over 70 guests attended the exclusive event, hosted at The Ned, which raised over £45k for women survivors of war. We were honoured to be joined by the inspirational Syrian journalist, filmmaker and activist Waad al-Kateab. The event shone a light on the courage and resilience of the women in our programmes. Jimmy Choo's ongoing support and commitment means we can be there to support the most marginalised women in the world at a time when they need it the most.

NFT Collection

For Jimmy Choo’s first ever NFT collection, a one-of-a-kind digital animation was launched. The animation featured the sneaker from the JIMMY CHOO / ERIC HAZE CURATED BY POGGY collaboration, and was auctioned with all profits donated to The Jimmy Choo Foundation in support of Women for Women International.

CHOO Sketch

On 11th June 2021, Jimmy Choo launched the beautiful CHOO SKETCH Capsule Collection, donating an incredible 100% of profits to our work. CHOO SKETCH was an idea born as the world navigated a global pandemic, when Creative Director Sandra Choi shared weekly fantasy shoe sketches on the brand’s Instagram. Inspired by ideas that sparked optimism, followers were invited to share their own sketches. The response saw over 10,000 designs submitted from around the world with Sandra choosing five sketch finalists to be brought to life in the CHOO SKETCH shoe capsule.

International Women’s Day 2020

Jimmy Choo was one of 20 iconic brands and female designers involved in NET-A-PORTER’s International Women’s Day collection. The brand designed a t-shirt with the slogan CHOOS WOMEN - an irreverent wordplay on CHOO with a call to action to support the sisterhood of women across the world. 100% of profits were donated to helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives.

I am delighted that we can partner with Women for Women International to support the incredible work they undertake providing the most vulnerable women across the world with the tools to help rebuild their lives and business through a strong sense of community
