Our Ambassadors

Women for Women International's ambassadors play a key role in helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives. Ambassadors use their platform to raise the voices of the women we serve and shine a light on the issues faced by women in some of the world's most dangerous places.

June Sarpong

June Sarpong is a television presenter and campaigner. She founded and now leads the WIE Network, a platform for women leaders in business, fashion, philanthropy, politics and entertainment. June is passionate about supporting women entrepreneurs, which is why she is so committed to the work of Women for Women International. In 2013, June hosted the Women for Women International's Gala.

It is a privilege for me to work with Women for Women International. The organisation is an absolute power house and the work it does in war-torn countries is fantastic and incredibly important.

June Sarpong

June talks about her mentor and inspiration, Baroness McDonagh. "She is one of the most powerful women in British politics, and really nurtures the next generation."
