In 2017, L.K.Bennett and Women for Women International embarked on a new collaboration.

The result was the Zoja ballet flat, embroidered by ten Kosovo graduates of the Women for Women International programme. 100% of the sale proceeds benefit our work supporting women survivors of war.

Ten of our Kosovo graduates contributed to the project.

200 hearts stitched each

Each graduate individually stitched close to 200 hearts; each embroidery is uniquely different and took around two hours to complete.

100% of proceeds donated

Generously, 100% of the sale proceeds are donated to Women for Women International.

#HeartAndSole

Inspired by traditional needlework techniques that commonly decorate Kosovar folk dress, the Zoja ballerina flats are decorated with hand-embroidered hearts. The heart is a universally peaceful symbol, so it was the natural design choice.
