Gather, Share, Teach, Learn
There are many ways you can help support of women survivors of war around the world.
Many of our supporters choose to take on a very personal challenge to complete. We've had supporters climb Everest, trek through Jordan and even run a marathon in the Democratic Republic of Congo. For example, Selina McCole, completed Marathon des Sables and with the help of 122 supporters raised over £12,000 for Women for Women International. Read her story here.
"Having been blessed with peace, freedom and opportunity, I feel a sense of duty to help women who have not enjoyed such privileges, and who through no fault of their own have suffered terrible losses and must feel as if the outside world has forgotten about them. I want them to know that there are people who care about them, who want to help them rebuild their lives, and who want to empower them to hope for a better future." Selina McCole

Set up a Women for Women International society at your university. Our current Student Societies work together throughout the academic year to raise funds and raise the voices of women survivors of war.
From huge campus festivals to intimate film screenings, mitten knitting workshops to clothes swaps, and high heeled runs to sponsored hitchhikes, there truly are no limits to your creativity! Every £289 you raise will sponsor a women to participate in the Women for Women International programme.
"Taking part in Women for Women International is a fantastic and rewarding experience for all us. Education is a necessity for everyone around the world and we have a passion to ensure that we raise enough money to sponsor as many sisters as possible."
